Introducing the North collection

The feeling that arises when you enter a floral boutique is one of enchantment. You are instantly immersed in an alluring world of colour, texture and pattern. It can be said that flowers, much like jewellery, have the ability to lift your mood and express one’s personality.

Iconic floral boutiques skilfully create works of art with their arrangements. I love the floral displays by The Flower Bar in Byron Bay and Melbourne based Flowers Vasette, which employ the design principles of form, balance, contrast and rhythm. 

North draws inspiration from the incredible colours, shapes and patterns inherent in flowers. 

Introducing Elle Forma’s first collection - North draws inspiration from the incredible colours, shapes and patterns inherent in flowers. North Street is the name of a floral boutique once owned by my mother. These jewellery pieces are an abstract interpretation of what would have transpired in that boutique from a time before I can recall.

The vibrant hues, angled arrangement and unusual combinations of gemstones all play a role in the collection. Each piece is complementary - designed to be layered, stacked, worn casually or as a statement in its own right.

I love wearing the Stella earrings and Camilla chain together as an easy way to elevate my outfits. The interplay of colour and form in North allows you to express your femininity in your own style. S x
